Physiology speaking all you can do is full ROM to completely develop the Pectoralis major...But I am undecided about certain exercises having a slightly more benefit for certain areas of this muscle. And I do mean slight.

Well starting today I'm going to start doing push ups again and I am going to try close girp because they say it works the inner and upper chest. I know what most bastards say about push ups, but still, u should try it. I'll tell u if I get any results.

Post less and I for one will like you more. Well I'm half joking, but don't do pushups... no joke there.

For the interior chest if your on a bench press all you do is grip the bar closer together for more inside your chest, the further spread apart your grip is the more outer it works.

Who has not done pushups. They are inferior to what you can do by benching. I think anyone on this board who disagrees with that is definately part of a small minority.

for the inner chest I like cable crossovers. that is pretty much the only exercise I have done for my chest in the past 6 weeks.

Grow up. Push ups are no comparison to free weights. Free weights can have progressive overload applied and have a greater range of motion. More weight and more ROM means more results. If you do only push ups, you will come to a plateau, sooner or later. You can't adjust anything to work towards specific goals. That's just how it is. You can't argue with physiology.
