Question Is this Exercise Program full of ...you know what?

    http://www.lamuscle.com/docs/magazine/articles/view/116

I'm a little unfit at the moment as I stopped working out a couple of months back due to the strain of my exams, and now I am working which requires a lot of travel so I couldn't incorporate much of a routine. Yet for the next 3 weeks I am in a Stable posisition where there is a Gym so I will be able to workout. I could put together a 4 week program for myself, but I came across this program and I was wondering what people thought? I mean for someone in my position it could cause overtraining very quickly, but 2 weeks...I think the Central Nervous System might be able to take it. Anyways some opinions would be good. Thanks.

    Diet
Very important part of the regime. Your diet should be highly nutritious, so you can’t skip breakfast or dinner. Your meals should be something like below:

Waking up: Whey protein shake, such as LA Whey – 48g protein

Breakfast: Porridge, 10 eggs, 4-6 toasts, tea/coffee/grapefruit juice

Mid morning snack: Tuna/egg sandwich. If you can afford it, whey protein shake.

Lunch: Pasta/rice or potatoes, red meat/chicken/fish or tuna, vegetables.

Mid afternoon: Tuna/egg sandwich. If you can afford it, whey protein shake.

Dinner: Steak/chicken/turkey/fish or tuna, some pasta or rice, vegetables.

Before sleep: Whey protein shake such as LA Whey.

    Is that bad?

Im not expecting Collosul Results in 2 weeks at all. I am more then aware of the building blocks of bodybuilding, but I'm curious as to peoples opinions on the program. I just did the first day and it almost killed me (I said I was unfit) But If I carry on for 2 weeks I wonder how much will change. Even if nothing physically changes, but i have more energy and I feel more alert, it will be all worth it, Just curious to see if I should bother with 2 weeks or just forget about it ...

it just seems like a CNS workout more than anything else.

if you wanna go ahead. You wont benifit from this more than any other program.

Blah, Well I've come to the conclusion that Doing this 2 week programme Incoporated with 20 minutes of Cardio each day will be beneficial. Even when I was fit I remember seeing my first results after 2 weeks(Very small but at least noticeable). And now I'm a little unfit and have a Tiny bit of fat on my abdominal area...and especially since I usually have a very high metabolic rate, it shouldn't be too hard to see results (Maybe not 2 weeks)...but I will try to run for the subsequent 2 weeks. Even though it is going to be a little hard on my CNS, I will just have to see if it can take it.

it wont be hard on your CNS to do this for 2 weeks (unless you are already overtraining). That said, the program looks stupid and there is no way it can radicaly change your body in two weeks, esp. with that shitty diet. The way people in holywood get in shape is drugs.

haha, that wouldn't suprise me. So what would you recommend I do for 2 weeks? Full body workout 3 days a week and 3 days of 30 minute cardio? I just want to know wether doing 2 weeks is an Absolute waste of time or not? ...taking into consideration that I am At the beginning again, unfit etc...well I still retained quite a bit of muscle since Feb, but Im definately not as fit, and I have lost some muscle mass too.

you still reatained quit a bit of muscle but you lost some muscle too??

anyway, 2 weeks is nothing. you need to be working out for some time to see the results you want. be patient. But, a total body workout 3 times a week is not bad at all.

    Correct.

Well, anyways...I'm young and my body appears to adapt quickly, so I will give it the 2 weeks of training, and then try run for the next couple of weeks and see what happens, even if I see no physical results, it should be good for my heart, etc, and I should get better sleep.
