    Weight gain

I am 18 years old and weigh about 184lbs. For the past 3 months I have been consuming 270 - 300 grams of protein per day but still fail to put more weight on. Is there anyway I can gain weight but not fat? I'm sure I eat enough. I have 2 - 3 protein shakes a day, drink alot of milk, and eat 2 - 3 tins of tuna a day plus my meals but still I can't gain mass
    HELP!!!

    Weight gain

Get married..that sure worked for me. Seriously, I was a hard gainer until I figured out I was doing too much cardio... 1 hr 6x's a week. I cut it back and started to gain muscle.... now I have to be careful because if I don't do enough I can easily get fat...getting old sucks.

I assume that you're lifting weights too.

You're eating enough protein, but if you're not gaining weight then you need to increase your calories.

Like the others said, you gotta be taking in more Cals than you burn to put on weight, just make sure its all good food and the extra weight won't all be fat.

you can take in 400g protein a day, but if that's all you're consuming you're not gonna grow. Think about it - it's only 800kcals.
