low rep high wieght, imo

I'm on a bulk cycle. Should i be doing my abs low rep high weight or low weight higher rep?

I don't usually see anyone who's stomach looks funny from doing high weight low reps... I guess it's possible, but I don't think it's a very serious concern.Originally Posted by chunky34

your waist might get a little bigger but so will your upper body so it wont make much difeerence proportionally.

The thing is that my abs grow pretty easily, and my upper body didnt grow a lot in the last month, so I guess I will cut the abs work a bit, go on a kind of maintenance routine for abs with no overload and wait for my upper body to catch up.

I am also bulking and I just do some weighted sit-ups to strengthen my core.
And I say let a little cardio when bulking take care of those ab's. Man if your doing bent over rows, T-bar rows, deads and all the others you don't need to work ab's. Imo it's a waste of time. Use that time for something else in your training
