    This enough for chest

I've created a back/chest day.. So i cut out a few chest things my chest day is now:
    Flat DBell Press (4 sets)
    Incline Smith (4 sets)
    Peck Deck Machine (3 sets)
(i have a bad shoulder so i don't like doing benching anymore)
Is this enough. If you had to create a short and sweet chest day(for once a week) what would you include.

Thats more then enough. What did you cut out? My chest day consists of 5 sets of bench press or 5 sets of DB press. I alternate incline and flat weekly.

My chest day is only 6 sets. 3 db flat 3 db incline, but I go until failure on all sets. If your going until failure on all of them, it might be a little much.

I would take out the smith incline and do db incline, smith machines are lame. Unless its like a home gym, or something

my chest day it.....um.....I guess, 3-4 sets of incline presses (DBs or BB) and that is it for the week.

if you have a bad shoulder why do 12 sets for chest and then you probably do other presses on shoulder day (if you are training body parts). maybe you need to lower your anterior work and balance out your posterior side??

looks pretty good to me...your at 11 sets for chest, thats plenty enough, if you go intense enough you wont even be able to get away with that many. i generally hit 10 sets for chest. i would not stick strictly with smith machine just as FishOrCutBait said. but it is okay to put it in here and there. but try sticking to free weights mostly unless you dont have access to them.

I'm currently doing 2-3 push movements per week at completel muscular failure. I am now moving in the direction of training my movements on horizontal and vertical planes equally.

I find the Smith machine more satisfying then actually benching. But maybe that's b/c i was never that great at benching.

Also.. the anterior shoulder is mixed in when your doing chest, but not posterior? Or are both used.

I tend to believe that Smith machine is great when you are working out alone, and it seems to give me just as good results as regular flat bench.
