    Rate my workout

    Monday:
    Chest
    4-5 sets of reps
    flat bench, incline, decline, dumbell press, dumbell fly, machine flys, pushupsx2, go threw everything again and go till failure
    abs
    aproxx time 2 hours

    Tuesday: Tris, Shoulders
    dont feel like typing everything
    aproxx time 1 hour
    abs 10 min only


    Wednesday: Back and Bis i like mixing them toghether cause bis are involved in back, rows ect curls hammer curls u know the deal
    abs
    Aprox time 2 hours

    Thursday: Legs
    aprox time 1hr 10
    abs
    friday: More chest for another hour
    abs
    saterday: forearms and what ever other thing i feel like doing
    abs
    SUnday: a little bit of everything
    abs

    doing abs every day doesnt bother me, i switch on and off every other day i do resistance against machine abs and on the other days i do resistance against my own body weight

    please dont flame cause i know most people only train body parts once a weak and u want everynoe else to be like you but it works for me

    You're 14? Instead of spending 10 hours a week in a gym (and 2 hours for any workout is WAY too much BTW) try doing something a little more constructive. Imagine if you spent 10 hours a week studying.

    If you want a rating, cut your routine in half - at least.

    LEts see i had to meet my trainer which means i had to leave which is why i didnt type anything... and half the peopel that posted do chest once a weak which is stupid u can easily do it more it only takes the muscle 48 hours to rest, and if it still hurts after that wiat another day u can easily do chest twice a week u just choose to say that because you hear other guys say it on line???? oh yea and because u want to think that ur workout is good enough

    So if you are a fast recoverer, and it works for you, why are you only doing chest 2x a week? Why not everything else as well?

    i pretty much do everythign 2x a week i didnt really type it out welll i dont have a set routine because people relax on sundays so everything changes... ill hit the gym for 3 hours a night and do my whole upper body then hit it for 1 hour or 1.5 and do my whole lower body the next night then the next night do my whole upper body again becasue i have the time for it and the results drasticly show if i took more pics im 14 and my veins bulge out, my abs are nuts look at the pic of my abs from 4 months agao in my gallery...

    Lots of volume. I personally use lots of volume but try to keep your workout under an hour. Your only 14 years old and have to be carefull or injuries will jump up and bite you right on the butt.......

    actually there is one in there and i tried to load it up... im 14 im more built than you and suposidly you say my workout sucks.. well if mine sucks and its working better than yours where is your workout at ?? plus there should be a pic of my stomache in there ill update it ive almost got a complete 8 pack

    wow, you routine takes way to much time. and if your going to ask for help to be an asshole when someone says your routine sucks.

    you should take the advice from guys with years of experience in here. Also a muscle takes more than 48 hours to repair. Just because it doesn't hurt doesn't me its 100%.

    He expected you to say "wow, awesome routines..." etc. but what he got was
    the cold hard facts.
    I would be upset too if I came in here all macho and expected praise, but was shot down.

    He'll get over it eventually and maybe make a good workout, with help and advice.

    3 hours? You shouldn't spend more than an hour in the gym a day, unless your doing cardio. I don't spend more than 30-40 minutes. No one cares if you have abs, it has absolutely nothing to do with knowledge of working out. Neither does having big muscles. Honestly, most body builders don't know shit about working out. As for your work outs, you don't need to hit chest with nearly that many sets. I would love to see the intesity you use for that work out. I do 6 sets for chest, and I get results from that.

    lol when im ready to lift right gotcha somone that posted against me i.med me and i was just talking to him and from what he said im extremley ripped for my age and my body fat is extremley low and "What ever your doing is workign so keep it up kid" is his words 2ndly how about tomorow when i have time ill finish my routine and 3rdly... why do u think im on here in spurts cause i actually go to the gym and do shit u and some other people sit here all day and post and talk about how much u lift when really your not there that much

    because i actually work out 4 times a week, 45 minutes to 1 hour each time and i spend all the other times eating and recovering!your probably too young and ignorant to realize the role of nutrition in muscle building! you work out 6 times a week , 3 hours each time. your routine SCREAMS overtraining. sooner or later, your routine will catch up to you..

    oh and you made a big mistake. sometimes it doesnt matter how much you go to the gym. muscles grow in the kitchen, not in the weightroom.

    thats the best advice a young kid his age could use, I remember at his age I had so much trouble gaining weight, but now that I look back at it, I used to workout but my diet was horrible. I never completely had a 5-6 meal diet, I always snacked here and there. Once I commited myself to being disciplined and having a diet, my gains soared throught the roof! amazing huh? Something that simple..

    Don't post your routine looking for constructive criticism if you don't want to hear it. It is very easy to make steady progress for the first 6-12 months that you lift regardless of how poor your routine is. Pretty much all you have going for you is a low body fat percentage anyway.

    The bottom line is that you are doing way too much volume. You must be using an extremely low level of intensity to continue working out for that long. Most any training protocol that you come across is going to call for workouts that are no more than 60 minutes, on a regular bases, for a variety of reasons.
    The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
