I think yoga is great especially for people who lift weights. What is "power yoga".
I highly recommend all IronMagLabs supplements!

I LOVE yoga. I need to start practicing more. I have a sean corn vinyasa flow dvd. it really puts emphasis on the spiritual and importance of breath. I have never tryed a power yoga tape so i couldn't really say for sure what it is, but i believe it focuses more on the strength building.

"Power" yoga is a bastardized version of yoga. A combination of Bikram and Ashtanga I think. Bikram is also called "hot" yoga where you do yoga in a sauna like atmosphere of about 110 so you sweat out all your impurities. Ashtanga is strength yoga focusing on holding strength moves like bridges for long periods of time. Therefore this is a combo of the two.

I agree that yoga is great but should be used for its proper purpose - to relax, stretch your body and meditate.
Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

Flame or not.....I like the stretching relaxation part of yoga but I dont like the supposed "spiritual" parts that they try to throw into it. Ok, maybe thats supposed to be part of it but it turned me off... How about pilates? Looks the same to this unsophisticated guy, without most of the pseudo spirituality.
