    Losing the "butt"!

    I have been cutting from about 16 or 17%.. and i can say i'm pretty lean... Caliper says i am at 10%.. which is quite okay, i think. However, although my mid-section is showing, my lower body, is very huge!

    It is throwing my proportion off and making me look really fugly. Is it possible that my lower body still just have fat to lose? My legs have always been huge.Is it possible that my lower body is the last place where i will get lean down.

    Is there anyway to down size the legs? Right now i skip my leg workout altogether in hope to restore proportion. The only thing i do for my leg now is either playing basketball, or doing cardio in the gym.

    you can not cause local catabolism to a certain muscle or muscle groupls. the human body is either in a whole body state of anabolism or catabolism. if you want to lose muscle in the legs it will cost you muscle all over your body. you haven't posted any stats so it's hard to say how out of proportion you are. basically you need to bring your upper body up to par with your legs.

    Just don't train legs. Use it or loose it principle.

    Caliper shows me at 9.9% bf..

    Waist 32"
    Chest 42"
    Thighs 24"
    Arms 15"

    My Chest although 42", is not as large as other people who have chest measurement smaller than me. It is because that i have shoulders that are pretty wide, and i look very slender. My legs and butt are thick on the side, in fact, looks thicker from the side than my upper body.

    I actually have a similar "condition", although I don't think it comes from actually weight training the legs but rather from doing cardio etc.

    thats not out of proportion because of the legs, you need to bulk up the arms. legs are supposed to be big... they are legs. youre arms are just too small. train hard and heavy. and continue to train your legs in the higher rep range (above 12)

    My legs are a couple inches bigger than yours and my arms are the same size. I don't feel they're out of proportion at all. Look at what people can curl compared to what they can squat and tell me which one is higher. Squat should always be higher, and your legs should always be bigger.
