when you felt that sore before, was it when you first started working out?
i used to not be able to walk correctly for 4 days to a week after a leg day,
i couldnt raise my arms above my head without discomfort in the tissue for 2-3 days after shoulders, and i could feel my biceps sqeezing as hard as they could for 2 days after an arm workout.....
it doesnt do it anymore.
i changed my tempo... went to a super slow ecentric and an explosice concentric, i spend the same amount of time, and i changed my grip around just a tinse on all of my moves. the only thing i can think of is that i started up on creatine... will creatine cause this, or am i doing too light of weight? i had to drop the weight back to do the temp change with proper form.. wtf, i want to feel sore for a week after the workout again..![]()

after a couple of months your muscles become accustomed to the stress. therfore you dont get sore as easy. your probably still working them as hard.
its funny cause when you dont get sore after a workout you miss it. but if you stop working out for a while and start up, you get sore again, and then you miss not getting sore. or atleast i do.
the way i tell if i got a good workout is by tensing the muscle the next day. alythough the muscle wont be sore, it will feel fatigued and weak. try this and let me know if this is true for you too!

It's almost like in the beginning you get sore and think that you're doing something, and it's sort of a motivation for you to keep on working out and to not give up because you feel like you have to be doing something. After a while you just love it so much you don't care if you have DOMS. It's just a new feeling and I like it even more than being sore (actually it was kind of a pain... no pun intended).
