Pulldowns to the chest offer greater stress on my lats while behind the back I can squeeze the scapula and even stress my rhomboids.

Behind the back, for me, hit my middle back more than my lats (in a nutshell).

I rotate pulldowns most often, and do not use both in the same back day - although there is nothing wrong with both.

I wouldn't do behind the head press or pull downs/ups. It is a very good way to injure your shoulder. The idea that behind the head press or latt pull downs hit the muscle at a different area is archaic, front hits it the same way but is easier on the shoulder joint.
I highly recommend all IronMagLabs supplements!
