Does strength training require you to gain weight?
i was thinking somethin like:
each exercise perform 6 reps and keep training on the same weight until i can do 10 reps, and then increase the weight till i can only do 6 reps
or
should i keep increasing the weight slighty each week, with low reps (eg 4 reps)
Cheers!!![]()

Not sure about the first question, but my answer to the second one is no.Originally Posted by Toughenuff

It can, no.
Generically doing 6 reps all the time, isn't really strength training.

I agree with Mudge. Personally I like to do even lower reps. I do three sets of three reps each as a warm up followed by three sets of two reps each for my working sets in general. Basically the only time I change that is for ab work and grip work. It's worked for me so far so I see no need to change it as of right now.

It requires lots of Calories and a FFL Bulk.
Each set do 4-6 reps, push yourself each week. I would go up 5lbs. on lifts each day in the gym.
