    cardio while on bulk

I was just wondering how much cardio you usually do per week and how long while on a bulk in order to minimize fat gain but not stop muscle/weight gain? Also, what type of cardio do you do and when (first thing in the morning, on off days, same day as weights?

i dont do cardio when i bulk, i turn in to a fat slob (16%bf now). its disgusting. but my bulk cycle is cut in half by a very brief cut cycle and ill get back down to 7 percent or so and begin bulking again. not sure why i do this, probably just a confidence factor. keeps me motivated, i guess.

if i were to do cardio while bulking i would limit it to 20 minutes on the cardio bike 3 times a week, or better yet.. a few minutes of clean and jerks every other day after my warm up and before my work out. i find they make my heart rate skyrocket, and add a lot to total body strength..

2-3 hours a week of low intensity cardio a week is plenty. 15 minutes pre-WO and 20 minutes post workout several times a week is one way to do it
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

good advise, you don't need or want to do hours and hours of cardio each week when bulking but 30 min 3 days a week is great.

I shoot for 30 minutes 2-3 days per week. Sometimes I also incorporate some sprinting or HIIT cardio if I get bored with traditional cardio.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
