Im back for real this time!

Well, doubt any of you remember me, i posted back in last october about joining a local gym George browns, but i didnt have the funds. But, my mom took the incitive to sign me up at bally's, actually have an appointment tomorrow with a trainer. I have been putting it off for so long, but i think its time i get in shape. I have someone i talk to on aim, whos a member of another forum (gym.com) he went from being really slim ( i do mean really slim) to being pretty big. I think at 15, he was around 110-115. Now hes 20, hes 6'2 215. Heres pictures of his transformation.

anyway, ive read these forums lately, i just cant get over the fact of eating so many times a day, i just cant fit it in my schedule to eat so damn much. Not to mention, i dont have the hugest appetite. Now ive talked to him, and you usually try to drink protein shakes/bars in its place if u cant eat. Right now im about 6'0 175. I got a LONG ways to go thats for sure.

Good luck fella. I hope we can offer you some help. Lift heavy and eat a lot of food. Do compound lifts. You will grow.

yeah but who wants to be "average"?

you could get a body like his in about 5-6 months if you put the work in.

lets say you work out for 1 hour, 4 days a week. thats 4 hours out of 168. dont think you can manage it, MAKE THE TIME AND DO IT.

I dont mean to sound like a dick, but even the president of the USA makes time to exercise. and dont even act like your busier than him.

oh yea, how much time do you spend watching tv every week??? like i said if you want it you will make the time!!

i just got back from the gym, wow my whole body is fatigued, and i fucking got sick about 45 minutes or so into it. I havent been sick in years. I probably screwed up in 2 ways. One, eating about 20 mins before workout, 2 didnt drink enough water before workout, i bought a 20 ounce thing of gatorade, but it wasnt enough. Another fact being im extremely out of shape. The trainer was really cool, he says it happens a lot for ppl that go out their first time. Im really disappointed in myself, but this first time experience isnt going to stop me.

the first week or two will be a struggle but it will come soon enough... i usually eat or have a protein shake an hour before the gym...20 minuntes is just too soon..i cant workout on a full stomach... stick to the compound movements and eat and drink ur protein shakes...it will come...it takes time and consistency

the thing is my stomach wasnt full. I grabbed a burger at in and out. I didnt get any fries, and my stomach wasnt close to full after i ate. I was just perfect actually. Im probably gonna go again on thursday, and do some freeweights. The trainer also noted to me, to drink water as the day progresses, dont drink a half gallon right before u go. Also its better to drink gatorade, powerade, etc. after workouts, instead of during workouts, to regain your electrolytes.
