sounds like you hit a pretty good mental block. Taking a few weeks off, in the long run, shouldn't affect you greatly, but you likely think it did... Just start back up lightly, and ease your way into heavier weights, building your confidence and esteem back up ever so gently.

-I also just LOVE the lack of punctuation in your sig. It makes it sound so eloquent.

you will gain it back fast. once you get a base, if you loose that muscle and are young, i feel that its very easy to get it back.

Yea, it's called muscle memory. It doesn't matter if you are young though. It has something to do with the muscle retaining extra nuclei when muscle is cannibalized.

Probably because he doesn't train like he use to or use steriods. I'm not saying it doesn't get harder to add/maintain muscle when you get older, but as far as I know, bodybuilding isn't exactly Arnolds primary goal anymore.

I agree, I think you mostly just hit a mental block. I've taken a couple weeks off and haven't lost much, if anything. Of course, I would think how much you rested and what your diet was like when you took a break would affect how much strength you lost. Trust me though, you can gain it back very quickly.
