    help with routine please

    Hi im a 20 yr old male 5ft11 @ 147 lbs my aim is to bulk/gain mass! im currently consuming 3000 cals a day here is what my split routine looks like can anybody give me suggestions or advice am i overtraining or not training enough??

    moday- chest/biceps

    dumbel curls- 4 @ 6-8rep
    barbel curls- 4 @ 6-8rep
    hammer curls- 4 @ 6-8rep
    barbel curl (machine)- 4 @6-8 rep

    bench press- 4 @ 6-8rep
    dumbel press-4 @6-8rep
    pec fly (machine)- 4 @ 6-8reps
    pec fly (dumbels)- 4 @6-8reps

    tuesday-off

    wednsday shoulders/legs

    Bent Over Low-Pulley Side Lateral- 4 @6-8 rep
    dumbel shoulder press (sat down)- 4 @6-8rep
    military shoulder press (machine)- 4 @ 6-8rep
    front cable raise- 4 @6-8rep

    leg curl- 4 @ 6-8 rep
    leg extension-4 @ 6-8rep
    leg press- 4 @ 6-8 rep
    calf raise 4 @ 6-8 rep

    thursday off

    friday- back/triceps

    tricep extension (cable machine)- 4 @ 6-8 reps
    Cable One Arm Tricep Extension- 4 @6-8rep
    standing cable tricep extension over head- 4 @6-8reps
    Lying Dumbbell Tricep Extension- 4 @ 6-8reps

    upright rows (cable machine) 4 @6-8 rep
    Wide-Grip Pulldowns Behind The Neck 4 @6-8rep
    Hyperextensions (Back Extensions)
    Seated Cable Rows 4 @6-8reps

    Can anybody give me advie and their views on my routine

    All help appreciated

    From what I can see, too many sets on your arm days, and not enough on leg days.

    You want to build mass, you need to do heavy compound movements like squats and deadlifts.

    Also, on many of the excercise groups, you are essentially doing the same thing in all of your sets. How many extenstions can you do for triceps? Do some CG BP or dips.

    i agree..you should really focus on compound movements, and worry about the detail exercises afterwords.
