    A cheat laterial raise? A cheat anything is when you use momentium to get the weight up.

    It is an exercise you don't need to do. If you feel the need to cheat on some deltoid exercise it should be a big basic movement.....press or DB press.

    another quick questions whats your input on doin the lateral with cable or dumbell which do you suggest better? this is for a power week of the p/rr/s

    i like my cheat laterals. I prefer dumbbells over cables 90% of the time.

    Either one is fine. I prefer DBs because of the stabiliztion necessary to move the weight, but cables are good too. Cables allow for greater resistance at the beginning of the movement.

    My shoulders are all over the place. It's the only part of my body I can't ever figure out what to do that works for me. Laterals... never can seem to actually contract the deltoid... never any DOMS, never anything.

    Just recently, ForemanRules told me to do cable laterals... I've tried it one time so far. I still haven't had any DOMS or anything, BUT... the cables felt alot easier on my rotators, so I am gonna stick with em and see if I get any development... THANKS FOREMAN!
