Someone help this 11st determined fella!

Now then,

I am 22 years old, 5ft 10 and i weigh approx 72kg, i am quite a narrow build to look at face-on but am quite deep to look at side on. I have been trainning on and off for a couple of years now and have made some good gains in strength but my body is still far from the temple i strive for! although i am quite slim i seem to hold fat on my stomach on chest (man breasts).

I aim to put on about 1 1/2 stone of muscle. I know this will take time but in the meantime i wana to lose my man breasts. I eat well (4meals a day at least) and its all generally low fat, quality complex carbs and protein. But i dont know whether to sacrafic trying to get bigger, cut back on food and try and lose the flabby chest. Does it even work like that?!!? i am stronger than most of my friends but they always look better than i do with tops off!

So please someone advise me of a trainning routine or diet that could help! I currently train about 3/4 times per week (weights). I split train my chest. arms. shoulders & back then legs. Chest i do, flat bench, incline dumbells and cable flys.

So anyone with some good advise on training or diet please help.

Thanks

Rob

if youre going for looks, try to cut the fat off. not many people can lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. just pick which is more important at the moment and go from there. it would be wise to cut down the fat first though, because when you bulk you will put even more fat on making your next cutting session harder.

I totally agree. Lose the fat first. Get yourself down to around 10% Bodyfat first. Then bulk up making sure Bodyfat don't go above 15%. Then Cut the fat again and then bulk again. Keep repeating until you obtain your desired looks

Note: Eat clean and find the amount of calories to maintain your present weight. then start by cutting calories by 200. Make sure you do cardio 3-4 days a week. A brisk walk for 45 mins would suffice for cardio. Find yourself a good training program lifting 3-4 days a week and always try to up the weight ea week. This can be difficult when cutting but do your best.

i would see what happens now that you are training seriously and regularly. You may find yourself "leaning out". As you build more muscle you will burn more calories even whilst resting.

If you are looking for the perfect six pack, yes- cutting is a good idea at this stage, but since you are of narrow build, it is possible you will look better adding mass instead of being extremely lean. At least this was the case for me.
Weighing in at 72kg is pretty light for your height, maybe the man breasts you refer to are just under developed pectorial muscles?

get yourself some stronger friends lol
