Post few questions

1) Do anyone here perform or try crossover dumbbell curls (for biceps) before? Is it any effective?

2) When doing bench presses, what type of grip do you use? Shoulder width or wide grip? Which is harder and more effective anyway?

3) Are there any exercises I can train myself to improve the distance in jumping far?

Thanks in advance.

I go a bit wider than shoulder width. The closer grip will hit more tri's and delts, wider grip will stress pecs.

Squats should help.

Thanks in advance.

Jason,
When I was in high school, our basketball coach made us jump rope on one foot. To add to this when you jumped the rope you had to jump as high as you could off the one foot. We did this for as long as our body could take it.

Also, try jumping as high as you can off both feet onto a 2 foot high box. Do this repeatdly for a few minutes.
Believe me, this will tire you out alot more than you think it would. I gained a good 5 inches on my vertical from start to finish of basketball season.

How about just practicing the movement of jumping?

That in itself is a exercise.
