    criticism (pics)

ive been cutting for about a month now and well i would just like some criticism. i would love to hear the good the bad and basically anything you guys have to say. (lagging bodyparts and such)

well i think im going to cut for about another 3-4 weeks to shed of the excess fat that i have (particularitly around the lower abdominals) then bulk again. does this sounds right to you guys/gals?

im not sure about my bodyfat tho...i have a caliper but do not yet know how to fully use it correctly. any body want to take a wild guess as to where i stand?

and for all that do not know, i am 18 currently at 208lbs. height is 6'2"

    thanks all!

I'd say it looks like you're progressing well, but you have no leg shots up.

Ah, sorry to hear that... It's always rough when you can't do certain lifts... I haven't been able to do any presses for a good month or so (lightly strained shoulders)... Hopefully I can start back soon.

The side view reminds me of my body. The sucked in stomach that always
    looks like you haven't eaten.

    How's your back not flexed?

Traps could be worked on harder. Do you shrug?

Symmetry looks good. Looks like you have some good genetics

id say start bulking. unless you want to stay real lean for the ladies on the beach or something. no time like the present to start slapping on some mass.

haha ya the sucked in stomach always looks like you never eat. haha.

ill post a pic of a relaxed back shot today so you can see.

i will start training traps harder...what i have been doing is basically 2-3 sets of shrugs on back day. and i train each body part once a week as of righ now so i could probably do traps 2x a week as long as i dont feel like i am overtrainng them. what do you think about that idea? so probably do them Tuesday and friday. which will give them enough rest

ya i know what you mean. i cant wait for the bulking process its so much more fun than cutting. lol. but i think im ganna go probably 3 weeks and try to improve my lower abs, and i would like to start my bulk with a lower % bf. that way i can bulk for a longer period of time.

Try two 80 pound dumbbells, 3 sets of 10, with a 45 second break
    between sets for starters.

Your arms & forearms look strong enough, to handle the load. If your
already doing 80s, go 100, 120, 140, you get the picture.

thanks Foreman for stopping by and giving me your honest oppinion! i will definetly try and switch some things around to try and spark some growth in those areas...and of course everywhere else of course, but maybe a little more fine tuning around those areas...well it will be a little easier when i start bulking in 2 weeks. haha.

i decided to start bulking again, i realized that i can always get cut but why not put on more mass while i can. and plus there isnt much more time left in summer anyways. so im ganna go on a super clean bulk. and i was sick and tired of being weak due to my dieting.

my routine changes weekly but i will give you a couple examples of what i have used recently:

    Seated Military Press 4x6-10
    Seated DB laterals 3x8-12
    bent over rear laterals 3x8-12

    or

    Seated DB Laterals 4x8-12
Seated Barbbell Behind neck presses 3x6-12
Seated one-arm cross cable laterals 3x8-12

i change up the rep ranges and sets often and go to failure on just about every set.

i dont always stay with the set scheme of 4,3,3. but thats what im doing as of right now and love it.

This is what I did last night:

    DB military press 4x6-8
    Seated side laterals 4x6-8

I did supersets of those after reading MonStar's journal yesterday. Then I did:

    Front laterals 3x6-8
    Upright rows 3x6-8
    Shrugs 4x6-8

I try to go heavy on all sets. I know this seems like alot of sets but it only takes me approx 40 minutes and I'm out of there.

Do you do shoulders by themselves or do you train another body part on the same day?

Damn, i would have died right after the supersets haha. i bet those were killing you. i superset like this on an occasion and it works well. but i just would keep it to an occasion and not do it every week(i know you havent been but just saying).

if i could make a sugestion it would be to that you do seem to have a little too many sets for your shoulders. and you dont have any workout that targets the rear deltoids directly. but you have DB presses/Front laterals for your front delts, side laterals/upright row for side delt. so try adding a rear delt workout into the mix. the majority of people have lagging rear delts because they do not hit them directly.

ya, i hit my shoulders on their own day...this is my logic as of right now and well it will probably change soon because ive been on it for a little while. her it is...i hit my chest on monday which works the front delt, shoulders on wensday(hitting all of my shoulder), then finally back on Friday. which hits the rear delts.i dont know if that made since but i hope it did. try to post some pics if you could.

hope i helped a little bit
