    how does everyone feel about the stair stepper

    compared to just running for a few miles? sorry if this is a repost didnt see anything from the search ,im just tryin to get some input on what all benefits are of using the stair stepper for extended amount of time versus just some track running

    Don't own one. Guess I'll stick with my eliptical and treadmill

    Of course any cardio that you enjoy is what you should do, but I personally like the stair climber a lot. But NOT the one with the little pedals that you press, that doesn't get you the full range of motion. Use the one with real steps on it.

    For me, it breaks up the boredom of always using the elliptical or treadmill. It also works the glutes better and I can really get my heart-rate up on it. But try it out for a couple of days and see what you think. I like because it's high-intensity but low-impact which I need for my bad knee.

    The one with the real steps kicks my ass. I wish I still had access to it; doing HIIT on it was amazing.

    The stair stepper is the hardest cardio I have ever done......hate is so I just run instead.

    seems like it would build up more leg strengh then more calories /fat burned!

    im using one cuz i like the look of the fantsy art women with the strong legs n butt. doesn't take long to feel the burn. i've never seen one with real steps. anyone have a pic?

    I hate running, but I LOVE my stairmaster I get the best workout from it. I use it for 25 min everyday. I swear I used the elliptical trainer for 1 week and I gained. I will never leave the "master" again!

    I agree! The stepper friggin owns me so I just do something else....lol. That thing is brutal!
