    I can't remember doing this b4 but , yesterday I had some rye biscuits with peanut butter , about 45 mins b4 working out. I really felt the extra energy I had to lift. will eat like this from now on b4 working out. Usually i havent eaten for about 3-4 hrs when working out.

    I try to eat 20-30 grams of carbs 30 minutes before working out along with 20 grams of protein

    I just read an article on this in Muscle Media. They said if you eat a high carb/high protein meal an hour before workout it will be beneficial in getting bigger, it improves protein sythesis.
