Good luck in your competition![]()
I've got my comp this Saturday so I was wondering how I should be training this week. I did lighter bench and tri's today and will do the same with squat tomorrow (tuesday). How should the rest of my week look like?
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

I don't know the specifics, but make sure you're extremely well rested for the meet. This probably sounds very obvious, but many people train hard and then don't have any energy when they actually need it. Good luck, and post back here to tell us how you did. I'm curious as to whether those are fun. I'm thinking of doing one (probably not for a long time, but I'm still thinking about it).

I wouldn't train or just go very light. my contest is on sunday and I am going to do very light snatches, clean and jerks and front squats (very light) tues and thurs. then I wont do anything until sunday except stretch each day, do some yoga and relax.

Thanks Squaggle. I think there are only like 10-15 people doing this one so I think it'll be kinda fun and not too overwhelming. My shoulder is hurt so I'm not expecting to do real heavy weights (for me) but I'm doing it for the experience. If you want to do one, just go for itOriginally Posted by Squaggleboggin
