My leg day at the gym!!!!!

So I went to the gym to do my legs today!!!

Leg day is my favourite day! a couple of years ago I had my left knee reconstructed, and its still catching up to my right!! anyway I dont want to build my upperbody up and have skinny legs, so I just maintain my upperbody until my left leg catches up!! this is why I get excited for leg day because its the only day that I can really train!!!

Heres what I did

Squats!

1 set 135 lbs warm up
3 sets 205lbs 10 - 10 - 8! still a little shaky, i want to move up but im affraid

Leg Press (individual - left leg first, right leg matches reps)

3 sets 160lbs + the sled 8 - 8 - 8 I'm moving up next week! realy have to concentrate on moving controlling weight with your heel!!!!

Barbell Lunges!! new exercise!

3 sets 95lbs 10 - 8 - 4!!!!!! a little shaky, but I hear they hit the glutes so Im gonna keep at em!

SLDL!!

3 sets 145lbs 10 - 8 - 8 my back was feeling the last set!!! I use 2 25lb plates on each side of the barbell, that way i can get a full ROM. just a tip for anyone who doesnt know this

Leg Curl ( left leg first, right leg matches reps!!)

3 sets 65lbs 10 - 8 - 8 - I want to move up weight but my left leg doesn't feel right!!

Leg extensions!! ( left leg first, right leg matches!!)

3 sets 25 lbs + whatever thehammer machine is!! 10 - 10 -10!! Im so moving up weight next weeks. im excited about this, this is good progress!!!

Machine Calve raises!!

3 sets 405lbs 10-10-10 im doing more next week!

Its so funny at the gym in the morn!! I swear Im gonna bring a digi camera in one day and record all the crazy exercises the old guys do!! Lol , its good that their there though!!

just think if we deleted the two word only thread, the post whore thread, etc., then their post counts would drop to about half!

I was a national swimmer when I was a kid! came third In the british nationals when I was 12 ( I was born in england). came to canada, started playing football, It was the only thing that resembled rugby, my favourite game!!!

apparently the swimming stretched my knee out and a couple years later got smoked in the side of my knee by my some retard. blew my knee to shit, stretched out all the ligaments and tendons!!

thats life!!!!

because I dont really want to be building mass on my upperbody while my (left mainly) legs is still catching up to size and stability. Don't like the look!! so i just kinda go easy (maintain my upper bod)

so once my leg is built to were i like it I am gonna go on a bulk (total body)!!!! maybe I'll do a journal in the journal section!!!
