5 sets of 5 reps

say u were doing 225 for squats, you would do 5x5 (5 sets of 5)

It builds size and strength ( but 6-12 reps is better for size).
I wouldn't recommend to train at those low reps for more than 2 months.....after that bump up the reps (8-12) for at least 1 month.

Its good to change it up every few months...I was doing 6 reps for the last 2 months now I'm going to switch to 10 reps for the next 2 months....doing this makes me get bigger and stronger faster.

6-8ish is a bit more traditional for "big size." 5 and below is a bit more strength oriented, 5 reps puts you around 90% 1RM.

It's up to you, if you want power only then do the 3-5 rep thing for 2 or 3 months.

Dont make the mistake I made as a teen and think you have to do 5-6 reps to get big and strong. I made amazing gains in strength and size doing 10-12 reps.....when I was 20

I do 2 reps and it's worked wonders for strength. I love not working out for longer than about 20 minutes too.
