abs

hey i have been working on losing weight and today i found out i lost 4 pounds in 2 weeks

but the reason i'm writing is i want to know what the best ab execersie with weights and without weights?

please clue me in

Good work on the weight loss! Well I never do weighted ab exercises. I just do hanging leg raises (3x30) and some form of crunch, whether it be half crunch or reverse crunch (3x30).

do the plank for a minute or longer, do sit up on the ball, on an incline, add something like a medicine ball when doing sit ups....switch it up!!!

Deads squats and weighted decline sit ups are the best weighted exercises. Crunches for unweighted.

Bicycle maneuvers and captains' chairs are excellent for the abs and obliques (it's great to work everything with just one exercise). I also like doing weighted sit ups, but I find it fairly easy to progress in weight with those to the point where your chest has 50+ pounds just sitting on it.
