    Good gains or more

I weigh 167 lbs. Im not sure exactly if I would consider myself a hardgainer or not. Well i guess if I think about it im not a hardgainer. If im fairly active then I find it hard to put on wieght but if Im a couch potatoe I can gain wieght in the form of fat easy. I realize that is not the type of wieght you want but anyways let me get to my question. During the summer my max weight was 175 lbs of mostly fat. Then I went on a crash diet and dropped to 153 lbs. Since probably october I have gotten up to 167 lbs. Is this reasonable size gains in 5 months or should I have been shooting for more?

It depends on what your BF was when you started and what it is now, was the weight you put on muscle or fat or both???

Age and experience plays a big part in it to, if your new to weighlifting you can expect to put on some good size early on but don't expect it to keep up as you get more experienced. Diet will become a bigger factor as time goes on.

Good luck, I'd say your doing just fine!!!
