Just do whatever works for you. If you do better with more sets and less weight, go ahead and do it.
What do you program?
Is it ok to lift more then usual because I do not do hard labor and stuff like anybody else, I sit in the chair all day programming shit and playing games. So when it goes time to workout, can I do a couple extra sets then some people do?

Websites, and I am learning C++. So far I do PHP, MYSQL, HTML, CSS, and others..
That's cool. I do HTML but that's about it for now. Are you going to be a programmer or do you not want it as a career?

I always wonder if people that do a whole bunch of sets are pushing enough weight.
I would rather see you up your weight than to do more sets, however, some people do progress better with higher sets.
Give it a try, just remember, you grow outside the gym, not in it.![]()

I meant like, do more sets all together, not drop the weight and do more sets. Anyway I would wish I could program as a career but I do not know where to start or where to go after high school.

Rob, just check out basically any school reputable for its computer classes. Do well there and you'll do well in the job market. It sounds like you're ahead of about 98% of the people who would go into programming anyways, so give it a shot.
