Dont!
I was wondering if you would be working different parts of the tricep muscle during different types of exercises? One being used as a push movement ( dips, close-grip bench ) and the other being extensions ( skull-crushers and cable pull downs ). The reason I am asking is I don't want to overtrain, and I when I do chest I involve dips and close grip presses. And then one day a week I do arms only, doing a lot of extension exercises for triceps.
yes, changing the angle of your humerus in relation to your body will change the emphasis on the tricep heads involved. its not going to 'isolate' any one of them, but in some positions you can elicit a stronger contraction (from an individual head) by putting the muscle on a stretch.
