    Question Help I am weak

I just got back to school after the summer at home cutting. I managed to reduce my body fat to about 11% which is really good for me but i just got back to the weight room yesterday for the first time in 3 months! I am starting slow for the first week but I dropped about 15lbs in my shoulder lifts (yesterday was shoulders) I'll see what my bench is at today(chest day), it probably is more than 15lbs weaker though. Any idea how long it will take to get back to what I was doing 3 months ago and then exceed that? I am on a very clean bulking diet and I normally was adding 1-3 lbs on each of my lifts last year every week. Can I expect the same or I am thinking I will see greater gains in the first few weeks (kindof like the new weightlifter syndrome)

You stop lifting when cutting... very bad idea. You probably did lost some lean mass during your cutting cycle. The reason of the drop of your strength is simply because you stop lifting for 3 months. But you can thanks muscle memory, you will gain back your strength to probably almost the same level as you were, but like I said, you stop lifting while cutting, so the lost of lean mass may have an impact too.

Why the hell would you stop lifting, especially while cutting?

I agree with the first response. You'll probably gain it back faster than you expect. Just hit the weights hard and let it come back to you.
