    Curling

When I curl with dumbells, I can curl 25's easy, then I pick up the 30's or 35lbs dumbells and it's not that I can't lift them, I can. My bones hurt and everything else. What can I do about this?? It hurts to lift them.

Don't move up in weight until it's comfortable for you. Your body may just be adjusting, but I've never really had that problem before. Maybe someone else can answer from experience.

You are 15 and you are still developing. You could have soft bones from malnutrition, I remember working with 45s at your age with no problem. I also worked with 110 on the barbell with no problems.

I've never broken a bone in my life, and I've had bone pains but not until I was benching with very heavy weights. Dumbell curling, never that I can remember.

I was never malnutritioned, I always had multi-vits and everything when I was little starting around the age 4 with flintstone vitamins. I also drink a glass or 2 of milk everyday.

It could be a lot of things. Ask your pediatrician if it becomes a cause for concern.

Sounds like the straw that broke the camels back to me. The extra 5 lb is just 5 to much. If you were older I might vote for arthritis, or rumatiz. But not at your age.

Stick with 30s for a while. Perhaps your bones, tendons, and ligaments will strengthen...

It actually wasn't. We're both under 18 so we still have pediatricians. I can see how you thought that though.

Nope. I have used this name on other forums, but not those ones (I couldn't get into the last link though so maybe I did go into that one). I haven't done anything with the other forums in a while though.
