    Overtraining

i know i made the mistake of being an overzealous newcomer in my approach to my new routine and it did more harm than good.
What have been your worst experiences and effects of overtraining?

a few years back when i first bought weights i got real skinny due 2 lack of calories, overtraining and lack of protien for several months without knowing till i read about overtraining here on this site, i over trained my bicepts and my arms got smaller instead of bigger so i worked them even more thinkin it would help till i read yhe sticky's and found out wut i wuz doing wrong, but i'v corrected the problem and am now seeing gains(mostly in size) i also stopped isolating my bicepts so much and only work them maybe only once every week or 2, i'v lost sum definition and peak but gained size, i also realized the reason my arms weren't getting bigger wuz cuz i needed 2 work my tricepts... DUH!!! this site helped alot
