dude itd require "more" strength to curl 45 lbs on a barbell than a 45 lbs db? sure.. why not use heavier dumbell lol? wtf...

altho i think ur bullshitting about the weight, it would require more concentration and focus just to balance the same weight you would on a db, but why risk in injuring your wrist like that??? i tried it once but it wuz more of a "i bet u cant lift that(75 on a ez curl) with one arm" kinda thing between me n my cousin's(failed, 2 awkward), we were drunk tho n always wrestle and box and compete against each other just 2 see who's stronger fun

I bet it's a good grip strength exercise if you can pull it off. It's probably somewhat plausable with the 25lb barbells.

Im am sure at a low resistance it can work well for wrist and forearm stabilizers, in fact if I wouldent fell like such a jackass doing it, I would probably throw in a couple sets once in a while.

I like the exercises. I used to do it for grip work. I could get 65lbs using the olympic bar for sets of 4-5.

Age 19, Weight 132lbs , height 5'4", 8% bodyfat, 100% natural.

Deadlift - 274lbs (NEW PB 9/8/2005)
Squat - 274lbs (NEW PB 19/8/2005)
Bench press - 154lbs
Total - 702lbs @ 132lbs
