Question Working one muscle group a week?

I have been working one muscle group twice a week now for more then 8 weeks. I'm going back to working the groups only once a week on a 3 day split with days off in between workouts.

Just curious if most of you work groups once a week or do you intensify by going to twice a week sometimes?

I just stick with a 3 day cycle, one group a week. But that's just me.

Once a week, twice a week might work for a Newbie but as you progress you'll need more recovery time.
Age, Diet and rest play a big part here as well.

scott is absolutely right! once a week once you really start seeing progress. the best and only place to grow is outside the gym with lots of rest.

Scotty is correct. Work each body part once a week.
