hey guys, lurker for awhile, finally posted some pics in my gallery and started a thread or two...
i'm 6'4" 155lbs coming off of knee surgery a month ago, leg's not in real good shape so nowhere near being able to lift legs please take a look at my pics and let me know where i need the most work, aside from in the kitchen, of course... i feel like i'm pretty even all over, but if i had to pick something, i'd def. say that my chest is lacking, bench is real tough w/ these long arms but i can manage. general comments on my physique are fine too.
i'd like to gain 25-35 lbs in the next 6 months, but maybe even by christmas, that's only 2 lbs a week, i think i could def. use some fat too, according to my home school i'm between 4-6%... thanks for the input.
hey guys, no comments? gotta have something to say... is this a good body to start from, good potential?
fine, here's a question then...
today on my 3rd set i BB benched 125 x 8, pretty happy w/ that i guess as this is like the 3rd time i've ever tried benching not on a machine, just takes a little bit of experience to balance the bar
i then did 2 sets of 8 DB bench presses w/ 40 lb DBs w/ slightly sloppy form
what BB/DB ratio do you guys usually put up? mine being 125/80 = 1.56

Any body has good potential. Just keep on working towards your goals and you'll get there sooner than you think.
Push yourself. Enjoy yourself. Be yourself.
Knowledge is power. Obsessed with functional strength. Journal
you will definetly be able to put on that weight as long as your workouts and diet are in check.
dont try to target one muscle part more than another, expecially for where you are at you should just be trying to gain mass all around. it will be a little more difficult to gain weight without being able to train legs but dont worry you can do it.(im in the same situation...knee surgery 3 months ago and not fully back but im still gaining good weight in my upper body).
lets see your entire routine so we can critique it.and make sure your getting enought sleep/off days from working out...dont want to be overtraining.
last but not least if you havent posted a thread in the diet/nutrition section then do so now and let everyone know your trying to bulk up and all that good stuff.
hey what kind of injury, mine was ruptured ACL, MCL and torn lateral meniscus (basketball/football )
injury occurred 7 weeks ago, surgery 5 weeks ago, cast off 3 weeks ago...
i was at 34 degrees flexion, 9 extension the day the cast came off, only 64 and 4 respectively as of today, talk of manipulation to come, but i'm doing better, how's your progress?
routine is currently 2-3 full upper body workouts a week...
