    losing mass when cutting.......

i'll put this in this forum....

going into the last phase of my cut program......goal starting was to get the brad pitt type body especially since i've never done a dedicated bulk.

so i went from about 202lbs at my peak to now at about 190, without supps save for flaxseed oil. i figure if i get to where i want bf% wise i'll be in the mid to low 180s, at 6'2. i figure that'd be around 7% bf

problem is i like the size i'm at now.....is it possible to keep the size and maybe even add a bit going into the last phase of cutting (thinking of lean system 7....read a buncha good stuff) or am i wasting too much energy by trying to make strength/ mass gains while lifting on a cut? diet is as perfectly balanced as i can possibly make it.....

basically, my lifting program all thru the cut has been low reps, high weight. been pretty good so far not on supps.....so, stay with it for the last 6-8 weeks?

It is almost impossible to cut and put on size. Keep you cal's up around 100-200 under maintence and get good cardio in to burn the fat. IMO the vest thing you can hope for is trying to maintain the amount of LBM you already have. If you cut the calories to low, you going to start dropping LMB at a rapid pace. Believe me I just went through a 11 month cut, dropping 21% of my BF

It is definitely tough to cut fat and add muscle at the same time. I would suggest cycling between the two like most do. Most likely, you'll achieve your desired body composition faster.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
