    Starting Ballistics Training Soon...

I just read about it in Arnolds encyclopedia and thought I might give it a try. Can anyone give me some tips or what to expect?

I only plan on doing it for like 3 excersizes. Bench, Squat, and Military Press.

Its a type of weightlifting in which you drive or "explode" the weight up then bring it back down slowly.

Your supposed to put your regular 10 rep weight on and get about 7 reps doing this.

Training routines in that book are different than the advanced training technicques.

Look, just don't follow the stupid routines in Arnold's book unless you want to shrink and tear every muscle in your body.

I always recommend exploding on the concentric portion of a lift. I don't really see the benefit in doing otherwise, whether your goal be hypertrophy or strength.
