I am doing a Power/RR/Shock cylce and this is my current split with when I plan on running in parenths.
Mon - Quads/Delts
Tue - Arms/Calves/abs (run)
Wed - Off
Thu - Chest/Hams
Fri - Back/Calves/abs (run)
Sat - off
Sun - abs (run)
Does this look like a good split and are these good days to run.
I would also like to thank people on this forum for advice they have given or knowledge made available to me, I can see and feel a difference in my workouts and physique. I joined this forum maybe 3 weeks ago. I have been seriously training since mid july and have gone up from about 148-160 I feel great, look better, and when I started I maxed around 165, I just put up 200 on Thursday! on my way to earning my username.
I'm assuming you're trying to gain weight. Therefore, I would try to do your cardio on days that you don't lift, or separate your weight training sessions from your cardio sessions by several hours.
In the end, it probably won't make a really noticeable difference as long as you are eating properly to compensate. However, in theory it would be best to separate the two workouts by as much time as possible.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
