    Hamstring Workouts

    What are some hamstring workouits...My hamstrings are digustingly weak, and I realize that without strong hamstrings, you can't jump

    What are some good exercises for hamsrtrings OTHER then leg curls?

    SLDLs, GMs, glute/ham raises. I use SLDLs myself and I like them and am satisfied with the results.

    Stiff leg dead lifts are the king, do those first and then end your hamstring workout with hamstring curls.

    Definitely focus on deadlifts and variations of them as well as good mornings. Those movements train hip extension, which is what is being done when you jump. Knee flexion is another function of the hamstrings, but the transmutation of training effects from a knee flexion movement to jumping won't be as great as a hip extension movement. Also, consider getting specific and doing some plyometrics and/or weighted jump squats.
    The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
