    I wana be buff

How do I measure my bodyfat percentage? Is this something I can do myself, or I have to see my doctor. Hopefully if I lower my bodyfat my gyno levels will drop. Anyway what do I do. I am training pretty vigurously at the gym with freeweights, and hammer strength. I prefer the hammer strength machine because if I cant handle the weight anymore I can drop it and it wont fall on my head (as the benchpress would). Are these good machines? And does anyone have a routine for me that I can do like a mix of cardio, freeweights, hammer machines, and all that. Thanks help appretiated

For strength, machines are nowhere near as useful as free weights. Free weights use more muscles and work them harder, and make you develop your own motor patterns. You can use a caliper to measure your BF% quite easily, but the accuracy isn't the best. You can also see a doctor to basically be dunked in a pool and get your BF% measured to a high degree of accuracy.

Check out my article on full body routines:

    Designing a Full Body Routine

You can design one that you do in a circuit. That is, you perform one set of each exercise without resting in between, then rest for a minute or two at the end of each circuit. This will be the most hardcore cardio you've ever done in your life; I can attest to that.

Just make sure you can jump easily from one piece of equipment to the next without being inhibited by the other gym-goers. Bodyweight exercises and DBs work really well because you don't have to have a bunch of machines and free weight racks/benches reserved for yourself.

Sounds almost like an anabolic way to do a catbolic activity.
