This is probably not a problem-I am dietng down for an October 8 show. I have abs (never had em before-it feels great). However, there's like a little 1 inch pouch on the bottom area of my abs in the lower region. It doesnt look like anything bad because when I twist and do a side shot, its flat. I can also "hide" it doing front shots. Anyone ever have this?
My question is: How the hell can I get rid of it in 2 1/2 weeks time?Is it possible? Any tips and/or tricks would be hugely appreciated.

It sounds as though you are not lean enough, which means other areas will be off as well.
I guess I would suggest that you get stricter on your diet and increase the cardio...but that is just off the wall advice, I have no idea what you look like, what type of show it is, if you are male of female, what you have been doing thus far, etc. 2 weeks is not much time though.

Come on you guys and give some real help. Hell this guy want's to participate in a bodybuilding contest. Sure he could lean out more and lose that little pouch, but probably would lose the muscles that would help him place. Some of you are lucky enough to not have that little pouch, but when you have it, it's there forever if you want to keep your mass that your presently have.
Why do you think so many bodybuilders see a cosmetic surgeon. If your not genetically gifted, your not going to win without hard work and DOCTORS.
I thought about doing extra cardio-since I have a little less than 3 weeks left, can I really destroy what Ive worked on? I think I can manage cardio everyday twice daily now. My diet is already strict.

If he says you're off in other areas, it means you bodyfat percentage is still at a level that is could be detrimental to your figure, hence that bit at the base of you abs. It just means if you bf% is still alittle high, it will obscure other areas of your physique effecting definition etc like arms, thighs, all over etc. You could well be happy with how the rest of you looks all cut and jumping out, but bf is reduced as a whole as your diet and cardio shape up, not unfortunately in just one area. 'Off' can just mean you could still be alittle more leaner/cut. It sounds exaggerated but even though you have just 2-3 weeks, you'd be surprised how much you can screw up your physique and come into the show looking off (smaller, smoother, flat etc) even though you were looking close to shit hot weeks previous. Id re-evaluate your diet (obviously you cant just dump aload of cals as crash dieting with fuck you over too, just keep protein levels high) and like the other guys mentioned, its probably best to hit cardio more often or for longer too. If you a natural, then no matter how strict you are with diet etc, the human body is just not 100% efficient to burn off just the fat without losing alittle muscle on the way, however if your juicing, you should be able to lose a good deal of bf and maintain muscle more effectively. Nail that cardio mate and hopefully that ab thing will drop away or at least diminish alittle. Good Luck
I am a natural. I was thinking of bumping the cardio and shrinking the dietary fat to just taking fish oil and the fat that comes in the foods naturally. adding another session of cardio everyday in the pm instead of killing my diet sounds like the better of the two evils. I can easily manage that. I would assume low intensity walking is best? I already 5 sessions of HIIT training in the AM, so I was thinking of doing low intense walking in the pm about 6-8 hours later every day. Is that okay?

when i was three weeks out I was eating pretty much just protein and fiber with little fat coming from fish oils. Lots of eggs and spinach. It is extreme but it worked out for me.
my trainer has me on a 2 day refeed (strictly complex carbs) every weekend, should I still do it or wait until I carb up? during the wekk, I eat 1/2 cup OF oats (daily) and green veggies with a ton of protein. I cant stand not crapping everyday

1) listen to your trainer. what is the point of having a trainer if you aren't going to do what he says? you will never know if his methods work for you if you change them behind his back.

My trainer is against the idea of skipping the refeed. And you too are right funk-what the hell is the use?!
I did do an extra outing of cardio yesterday with a good solid hour of posing. I will drop the whey starting Monday.
I can do this. I just have to "batten down the hatches and throw caution to the wind!!!!!" and win the whole fucking thing!
and think of the pizza-fest I am going to have that my wife is "secretly" planning. I found out yesterday that she is making pizza for me and chocolate cake and buying chocolate chip muffins from Dunkin Donuts having friends over. Nice to have a wife so cool, aint it?
