Question Running Stairs

Will running/sprinting stairs build mass in the legs? Good for hypertrophy?

Wouldn't you just rather squat or leg press?

Not sure, but it is the best form of cardio workout in my opinion.

Maybe a totally new trainee would gain a small amount of muscle mass, but the lack of ability to increase the resistance would put an end to that soon enough. You could try plyometrics. Dr. Mel Siff believed that plyometrics had the potential to induce some level of hypertrophy.

exactly the same reason why isometrics only provide minimal gains of hypertrophy

I live in a 30+ story building and the gym in it closes at 10. I wouldnt only be doing it for a leg workout, more of a cardio with a small added bonus of possibly of increased leg size.
