    Sore jaw?

This may seem like a strange question, but I've been working out for awhile now, and I seem to have developed a chronically sore jaw. I can't think of any reason this is occuring - I didn't injure it, and I don't grind my teeth or anything. Seems like one might clench the jaw when lifting weights, so I thought this might be a cause. Anyone else had a problem like this?

When going heavy on bench or something a lot of people tighten down the hatch. Just like when you see someone doing something and the tongue is hanging out like old spotty the doggie. You may be doing it and not even know it

Do a search for TMJ. You can cause the symptoms without even conciously knowing you are doing it. Especially if you are under alot of mental stress.
