Calves - 75 Rep Set Scheme

Ok, can't remember which magazine I read about this in. As well as I have seen it on a few other boards. W8 may have used it before I'm not sure.

I've been doing these for almost 2 months now, and have been getting great results.

This is one set:

10 Reps
5 Second Rest
15 Reps
10 Second Rest
25 Reps
10 Second Rest
15 Reps
5 Second Rest
10 Reps

And no drop sets, keep the weight the same through the whole thing. That's one set. Usually 3 sets of it are enough for me. The pump and burn you get from this is better than I've been able to get from any other calf workout I've tried.

If you try it, let us know if it works for you. I know everybody responds different, but it's worth a try.

I've never done it but I believe that it works, I have always seen better results using high reps on calves.

I use a 6-8 rep range and a 20 rep range for both seated and standing calf. Not too shabby.

yep, first time I tried this with standing leg raises. Stupid me added same weight as normal sets. Couldn't walk for almost 3 days.

It's hard but has been workin for me. let me know what you think.

"When I use the word intensity I mean the ability to continue past and through the pain barrier where your mind pleads to stop and in fact convinces your body that you have hit failure, but you push through. How far you push through that barrier is the level of intensity with which you train." -- Twin Peak
