    Tough Guy

    Hi,

I entered this event last July and managed to complete it in 3hrs 23 mins. Tough Guy
This was about 40 minutes slower than I hoped.
I have a good idea of the course now so should be able to take some of that time off.
I still have the problem of cutting more time off that though.
Thats why I thought I would ask some advice from you guys.
I know this is predominatly a body building forum but I want to mantain what little muscle I have got but also increase my cardio as well (oh and lose a few pounds along the way.)
The event is an endurance course involving assault courses, running, swimming and anything else they can think up before the event starts.

I'm not looking to become an endurance athletes.
I want to maintain muscle but also be able to run and complete the course in January.
I just want to see how a bodybuilder would go about training for this.

Any advice will be greatly received.
    Thanks.
