Given then number of sets and reps that you're doing, why not give P/RR/S a try?

    Right on.

You can find a lot of useful information in the sticky at the top of this forum and by looking through the journals of people doing P/RR/S in the Online Journals forum (check out Rocco32).

A bit of advice: if you do post in someone's Online Journal, try not to discuss anything other than the person who owns the journal or the immediate topic (about training) in that journal. Most people like to keep a clean journal.

    Good luck!

I never train biceps wth chest.................all you are doing is hitting biceps 2x a week by doing this and not hitting chest or lats 2x......dont see the point...
After 8-12 sets of lats all you need is 3 or 4 sets of bicep work and youre done...

I've been doing chest/biceps on same day for 2 months now, with excellent results. But if I were you I wouldn't do concentration curls every week...mix it up with preacher curls or cable curls for example.

I can see where you're going, but I'm reading this as, don't do biceps on the same day as back. Nothing to do with chest. Can you explain what I'm getting wrong?

    You said...

"Ummmmmm when you train your back you hit your biceps very hard."

This is simply not true. "Very hard", according to a weightlifter, means working a muscle group exeptionaly well. If you hit your biceps very hard then there would be no need for a biceps routine.

Just ask me if you want me to talk you through any other problems you might have.

Yes doing 4 sets of 225 bent over BB rows and 4 sets of wide grip pull ups and 4 sets of T-bar rows have little or no effect on the bicep and forearm muscles

Yes, I agree, working the back does hit the biceps hard, but this argument has fuck all to do with "never train biceps with chest" does it? Unless you meant working chest whacks the biceps hard as well, and mistakenly typed backinstead of chest?

The key to proper form when doing T-Bar rows is to lift with the back, not with the elbows

god...I have to go back to work. I can't wait to get home and read how this thread will have evolved over the next few hours......

maybe I will try and do some rows without using my biceps while I am at the gym and totally defy the laws of glenal-humeral rythm.

    Evidently I do.

Why does it hit biceps 2x a week? Because the biceps do alot of work during chest exercises?
