    Thigh fat

My girl and I workout at the gym about 3-4 days a week. One of her main goals is to decrease the size of her thighs. She doesn't like them at all. I did some good searching for this topic on here and found that you should just maintain a good diet along with exsercising.

She is dieting right now but isn't sure of what excersizes to base her workouts around. She wants to know what are the most effective workouts for her thigh area. And if free weights or machines are better?

    Thanks

Fucking six or seven times a day seems to work the best! Make her squat over you, it is amazing how the intensity will increase and the reps will sky rocket! Don't let her get on her knees, tell her she must keep the soles of her feet in contact with the bed, ground or what ever! ATG squats the natural way!

There is no such thing as spot reduction.

she needs to lose bf and get serious about leg training to firm up those thighs. what type of exercise routine is she following now ?
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

Well.............if she is fat then she can drop some pounds and make her thighs smaller.
If she is skinny then she will have a hard time losing fat in areas that she is genetically inclined to hold it...

Well she runs on the treadmill 3 days a week for like 30 mins. Then does basic Nautilus leg machines same 3 days along with other machines for her other muscles.

She is in good shape. Small top. But sorta thick bottom. Like her thighs are a bite big along with calfs. Not BIG, but bigger then normal. But nice ass

I know there's no such thing as spot reduction, but theres gotta be some workouts that will help. She wants her waste/thigh area toned down.

Haven't we discussed perhaps thousands of times that you cannot 'tone?' You can only lower the BF%, which is done by reducing BF, increasing LBM, or a combination of the two. Most things that you'll find in a search like that will contribute minimally, if at all, to increased definition IMO.

I think that is the point... there is no particular exercise to concentrate on. Spot reduction doesn't work. If you exercise your legs for a month and lose weight, that weight will come off your whole body, not just your legs. So any exercise that burns calories will help, no matter what body part you are working out.

You lose body fat by burning more calories than you eat. Exercising will help because it burns calories. Weight lifting and working out the whole body will help because it burns calories and because if she gets more muscle mass, she will burn more calories at rest than she is now.

Now after saying all that, the number one important thing is going to be diet. Keep a log of everything she eats and know exactly how many calories she eats. Then adjust up or down from there to lose or gain weight. All the exercise in the world won't help lose fat if you are eating more than you are burning.
