Good morning everyone. My question is, I love to work out. I mainly lift, but I am going into the air force in January. Now i know im in good shape and can pass the test easily, but I know that there are muscles that I don't use when I work out. I want to be able to graduate as an honor student. Does anyone have a 5 day workout routine that would benefit me, where no lifting is involved. Just pure bodyweight. I know the usual routine, Pushups Situps and running, but there has to be more i can do. Thanks for the help guys.
u can also do weighted dips or jus regular dips, or pullups chinups and change the positions of your pushups make them more diffcult try diamonds or elevate your feet so theres more weight in the front of ur body
You should consider some circuit training for improved cardioresperatory conditioning. This can be done with weights or bodyweight movements. This is a great way to improve localized muscular endurance and strength at the same time as improving endurance of the cardiovascular system.
Plyometrics might be something to consider. These are bodyweight movements that emphasize generating power, not just improving localized endurance and strength.
Check out sprinting or interval training. This is a great way to improve your body's anaerobic capacity.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
