Three sets twice a week - not bad.
Twenty sets twice a week - bad.
is to do biceps twice a week?
And I mean 2 times in a 7 days period, I've been doing biceps once a week, because of what I've read about over training, but honestly how bad is it to w/o your biceps twice a week?

What about if I do 3 sets of two different exercises for biceps, twice a week, is still ok?
You may want to give us goals and personal info as well.

depends on your volume and intensity between the workouts and don't forget they will work when you do any type of pulling also.
My biggest question isn't "how bad is training biceps twice a week?". Mine is "why would you want to train biceps twice a week?".

My goal is to increase my muscle mass. I'm 6'2" 190 Lbs, but have no idea of my bf%.
My routine mostly is like this:
Mon.: Chest-Triceps
Tue.: off
Wed.: Back-Biceps
Thu.: off
Fri.: Shoulders
Sat.: Chest-triceps
Sat.: off
So basically, I workout ever other day.
so were do you want to add biceps?
If you want to increase mass you really should be working legs. Especially at your height and weight. You are walking around on popsicle sticks.

something like this is better...........you could also do it in a 5 day cycle rather than the 6 day cycle I postedOriginally Posted by Flakko

Foremanrules, that seems pretty good.
I wanna start doing legs, but I wanna find somebody who can teach me the proper form and the trainers in my gym want me to pay them for that, and since I go to Bally's they want me to buy a package for like 200 dollars or something like that.
P-funk, my legs are not that skinny, I've seen worst and believe me I think more than 70% of the guys in my gym have a bigger upper body, but skinnier legs than mine. But the popsicle thing was funny though!![]()
There's nothing wrong with training muscles twice per week so long as you manipulate your volume and intensity accordingly. Have you considered the good ol' upper-lower split?

Cowpimp, I think on one of my threads you mentioned that upper-lower split, but as I said, I wanna do legs, but I need help, cuz I don't wanna do for example squats without proper form. If you guys can help, giving links with pictures so I can have an idea of which exercises for legs and how to do it, thanks

Also, you should check out this article on squatting raw:

Another good site where you can watch the big boys go at it in the video section is:

Just start really light. Only move up as you get comfortable with form. You will be squatting yourself sore in no time at all.

Biceps are the small part of the upper arm mass, why are you doing biceps twice a week if not other things?
I train the body 2-3x a week right now, but I do very low volume.
