    Went mountain biking this weekend...

I went riding for the first time since October this weekend. The rides can only be described as TORTURE SESSIONS. You take five months off, it takes a while to get your legs back. I was planning on working chest and tri's today, but I need to just eat and rest today. I am frickin' exhausted.

    Pain...such wonderful, wonderful pain.

I hear ya IAB!! That's why is is good to live in NC! Mild winters....you can ride even in winter...given it is not raining,or occasional snow...Most days even in winter are close to 50 degrees. Nice when working up a sweat!.........Today is going to be mid 70's..If weekend is going to be nice, might take off Saturday and go to Tsali in the smokeys........We need to plan a group ride somtime if everyone would like to get together~~

    You lucky Baboon!

I still can't get on any trails around here. We may try and ride one of the lower elevation trails this week. Will have to walk around some snow drifts though!!

I haven't got on my bike since October either. My legs are in real good shape, it's my a$$ I'm worried about.

LOL! Guys, my ass is KILLING ME today! Eh, it'll only hurt for the first week or so, then it'll get used to it.

My bike is covered in dry mud.

I couldn't stand it anymore so me and my kids put the bikes in the truck and went to Phil's Trail outside Bend. Did about 8 miles of single track. Pretty muddy with some snow we had to walk around.

Man I felt great! I can't believe how good everyone did. My entire family has been working out all winter and man it makes a difference when we get on the bikes. I am going to kick a$$ this summer, think I'll ride every trail in central Oregon......twice!

All those young guys are going to think I'm 25!! he, he, he.
