yea, what a fruit dick. kids like that are gay.
last year me and my friend worked out together and all he said all day was he could bench more than me and i would never bench more than him and shit like that by the way he could only bench 115lbs and every 1-2 days we worked out and he would train chest and arms only and i would train every muscle 1-2x a week and now he is still benching 115lbs shit if not lower and i'm benching 175lbs but you know what i don't throw it in his face and shit like that i atleast try to help him and shit..what would you think if you had a training partner like that? every time i looked at him he would be flexing or some shit(not that flexing is bad, but how he was it was bad)and kept talking about himself. finally i stopped working out w/him and thats when my bench and other stuff started increasing.
I prefer to work out solo...maybe a little help on chest day is nice for some assisted reps past failure

I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

solo is the way to go...especially since I workout at home. One day the cleaning lady will find me dead with a 400lb Oly bar on my throat however.
what the hell was he flexing if he could only bench 115 lbs?

He's about half my size, but I would never throw it in his face that I'm stronger. I mean, come on, what can you expect when there's over 100 pounds of difference between two people?

I guess I'm blessed that I have such a great lifting partner. We have been working out together for 4 years, since middle school really.
Another guy used to workout with us all the time too, but he's on the year-round baseball thing, we rarely get a workout together anymore.
Yeah, people like that suck... It's also annoying when people know you lift and every time you see them all they ask is how much you bench...
About the training partner thing yeah, I definately prefer solo. Not only is it hard to find a good w/o partner, but your schedules would most likely be very hard to work around as well.
i dunno what the hell he was flexing but i just ignored him and worked out(thats kinda hard though b/c every 1-2min. the jackass was posing/flexing and it was really stupid)and now he's still the same size and what a fruitcake googooberry i've been lifting alone for about 3-4months well sometimes my uncle will lift w/me but anyway i'm goin to go run on the treadmill for awhile so l8tr
Indeed. However, a really good training partner is worth their weight in gold. Unfortunately, finding someone with similar goals, drive, and of course schedule, is no easy task as you said.Originally Posted by LAM
